E3 2010 most looked forward to games

OK so my first article is going to be on e3 going on right now in los angeles....i live in atlanta, georgia with no freaking way of getting there, but props to www.g4tv.com for making me feel like i'm there lol.

here's a few of the announced games i am REALLY looking forward to and why (in no particular order)

STARWARS: THE FORCED UNLEASHED 2
the first force unleashed was great no because of the great (although repetitive combat) awesome graphics, or crazy force powers...but because of the freaking story. i wont spoil anything for you, but the story followed the tale of darth vaders secret apprentice, and the birth of the rebel alliance from the original movies. plus, george lucas gave the game the thumbs up, and said it counts as cannon if you finish with a light-side ending. to say it was a gazillion times better the the prequels would be an understatement, but considering how the first game ended, a sequel seems strange until you see the new E3 trailer that gives you a hint, maybe your not the original starkiller in this one...we don't have to wait too long for this one, it comes out on the 360, ps3,wii,psp and ds on October 26th, 2010

EPIC MICKEY

OK maybe i may seem a little weird to be excited about a disney game, but when it's been developed by the guy who made deus ex for the PC, come on! it has something to do with mickey becoming famous in the 1920's, and coming to life ala roger rabbit or something, and messing things up for his "brother" a little rabbit walt disney created before making mickey mouse, and having to help him save his world. theres suppose to be lots of cameos by disney characters, and the game lets you use paint and paint thinner to change to landscape and defeat enemies....maybe i'm crazy for being hyped for it, but only time will tell. the game is coming out for the Wii in third quarter 2010...maybe september

TWISTED METAL (PS3)

if you knew what a playstation was in the 90's, you knew that extremely frightening face to the left is sweet tooth, the ice cream truck driving homicidal maniac from the twisted metal series. they invented the vehicular combat genre, and now they're going to reinvent and redeem that genre next year. complete with new characters, destructible environments, air units (A FREAKING ATTACK HELICOPTER!) and a completely reinvented online multiplayer mode the lets you create your own character/vehicle and become a follower of any of the characters in the game...yeah spring 2011 is gonna be sweet for the PS3

MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 3: FATE OF TWO WORLDS

ah, the game that almost never was. you see, in 2000 capcom lost the rights make marvel games, after the wildly successful marvel vs. capcom 2, which is still played to this day on a competitive level, well. out of the blue this game was announced at capcoms press event a few months ago. the game will feature 3d environments and characters, but all fighting will be 2d. theres going to be 30 total characters, 10 of which are already revealed. ryu(street fighter) ,morrigan (dark stalkers), chris redfield (resident evil 5) dante (devil may cry) iron man, wolverine, hulk, and deadpool are the so far announced characters, but if you look at the pic above, you can easily make out several more, such as a super skrull, chun-li, doctor doom, venom, and more. this game will release on xbox 360, PS3 and also arrives in spring 2011

and thats not including halo: reach, call of duty black ops, dc universe online, donkey kong country returns, the nintendo 3ds device (real 3d WITH NO GLASSES!!) goldeneye wii, and many, many more.

what are you looking forward to?
